Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our passionate team. Our cutting-edge 5,000 square foot facility is equipped with the latest technology in sports medicine and rehabilitation, allowing us to address a wide range of physical challenges effectively. Our small, tight-knit team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant—each committed to working together to foster an environment where patient care is the utmost priority. We predominantly service individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our clientele receives the best possible care tailored to their needs.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence in our modern rehabilitation facility, where collaboration and patient interaction are at the forefront. You will maintain a steady work schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for optimal work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals and specific therapy requirements, ensuring a personalized approach to their care.
• Maintain a manageable patient load by dedicating one hour to each individual, providing focused and quality time to assess and address their needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Develop customized exercise and wellness programs that are uniquely tailored to each patient's physical condition and personal recovery goals.
• Encourage the use of non-surgical intervention strategies and work to minimize the reliance on medications whenever possible.
• Monitor patient progress closely, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Document all services provided and maintain clear communication with both patients and interdisciplinary healthcare teammates.
• Engage in continual professional development to enhance skills and stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, many of whom require rehabilitation for sports-related injuries, chronic conditions, or post-surgical recovery. By fostering strong relationships with your patients, you will serve as their advocate and motivator, helping them regain their independence and return to their daily activities with renewed strength and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Proven licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland, with no recorded board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement exercise programs effectively.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT for documenting therapy sessions and tracking patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting strongly preferred, showcasing your ability to manage diverse patient needs successfully.
• Hands-on experience with sports injuries and a deep understanding of rehabilitation strategies to enhance performance and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
