Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an optimal patient load, ensuring you provide thorough attention and time to each patient during sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to offer effective therapeutic interventions.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies to enhance patients' mobility and overall physical performance.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives and minimize dependence on medication through appropriate therapeutic techniques.
• Develop and monitor comprehensive care plans, employing diverse treatment techniques tailored to individual requirements.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs that facilitate patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective and personalized care, thereby optimizing treatment outcomes.
• Motivate patients and encourage their active participation throughout their recovery journey.
• Promote healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness and monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all services rendered to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our outpatient clinic includes a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative individuals to athletes seeking rehabilitation. You will work closely with patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and post-surgical interventions, all aimed at improving their quality of life and enhancing their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia is required, with a clean record and no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional mastery of manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy backed by research and evidence-based approaches.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
