Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you'll interact directly with patients in a welcoming and well-equipped clinical environment. The center's atmosphere is designed to empower recovery through state-of-the-art therapy tools and facilities. You'll work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while serving a diverse patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical limitations and goals to inform individualized treatment strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust personalized therapy plans that incorporate various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Effectively manage a patient load of approximately two patients per hour, allowing for quality interactions and focused care.
  • Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with other healthcare providers within the facility to support comprehensive care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve orthopedic patients, including but not limited to individuals recovering from surgeries, fractures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, while also providing essential support to patients managing neurological and cardiovascular challenges through tailored therapy interventions.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
Preferred Experience

Experience working with a diverse patient population and familiarity with a holistic approach to rehabilitation is highly desirable. Candidates with additional certifications in therapeutic techniques such as dry needling, Pilates, or functional movement screening will be given preference. Being adaptive to evolving therapeutic technologies and treatment methods is also a key asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
