Innovative Physical Therapy and Fitness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedics to join our dynamic team in West Long Branch, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in the home care setting. Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite, primarily working with patients in their homes. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies, enhancing the quality of care we provide. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to patient care excellence, ensuring you have access to the resources and support you need.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgery rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management.
- Creating and executing customized treatment plans derived from patient assessments that address specific rehabilitation goals and incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Administering therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques while utilizing modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate healing.
- Monitoring patient progress meticulously, documenting changes in condition and modifying treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Providing education on injury prevention strategies, effective rehabilitation techniques, and creating at-home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers in a team-based approach to comprehensive care.
- Ensuring that all patient records are meticulously maintained and compliant with federal and state healthcare regulations.
Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will engage with diverse clientele, ranging from active athletes to elderly patients, focusing on personalized therapy that meets their unique recovery needs. Your role will be critical in restoring function and enhancing the quality of life for each individual.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
- An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey.
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in orthopedic settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques and treatment modalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to manage a diverse patient caseload effectively within a busy, patient-centric environment.
While three years of experience is the baseline, candidates with additional experience in areas such as geriatrics and acute care will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and outcomes-based treatment methodologies is advantageous.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
