Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding exercise regimens, mobility training, and post-treatment care to facilitate continued recovery at home.

• Regularly consult with other healthcare professionals to collaborate on patient care and modify treatment plans as necessary based on changes in patient conditions.

• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending trainings and facility meetings to stay updated on the latest rehabilitation techniques and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing their unique rehabilitation needs and helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their physical abilities through customized therapy programs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license in Physical Therapy as required.

• Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation settings.

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to efficiently document patient care.
