Work Environment

This role is set in a collaborative and supportive onsite environment, where you will work alongside a pair of seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life while engaging deeply with patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and identify their rehabilitation goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Maintain an optimal patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring you provide focused and personalized care.
  • Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques, alongside exercise programs, to enhance mobility and functional performance.
  • Document all treatments and progress in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating seamless communication with fellow healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress on a regular basis and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and wellness programs to promote recovery and long-term health.
  • Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyle choices through improved strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with other team members and healthcare specialists to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Promote evidence-based practices that reduce reliance on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives for rehabilitation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach emphasizes holistic care, ensuring that we address not only physical difficulties but also contributing lifestyle factors and emotional support needs. You will have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with your patients, guiding them through every step of their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
  • A clean record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your professional license.
  • Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy with a minimum of two years in a clinical setting.
  • Exceptional manual therapy skills, complemented by the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance patient documentation and care coordination.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
  • Certification or expertise in specific therapeutic techniques or specializations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and the wider healthcare community.
Compensation and Benefits
