Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center in Ashburn, Virginia, which is designed to foster a positive healing environment. The working schedule is from Monday to Friday, comprising a standard 40-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the physical needs of patients referred by physicians, utilizing specialized assessment tools to develop individual treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to meet the needs of patients, while closely monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Deliver therapeutic care within the clinic setting, employing cutting-edge treatment techniques to optimize functional outcomes.
  • Educate and empower patients and their families, providing guidance on home exercises, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with patients, encouraging open communication to enhance their overall treatment experience and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Meet established goals for service utilization and overall effectiveness in delivering patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, pediatric conditions, and neurological impairments. Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, along with basic word processing and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect positively with diverse patient populations and foster a nurturing environment.
Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, with an emphasis on treating orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic patients.
