We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Locomotion Restore Physical Therapist Services, located in Ashburn, Virginia. Locomotion Restore Physical Therapist Services is a leading rehabilitation center that specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources tailored for sports medicine and rehabilitative services. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care to our patients, primarily those with private medical insurance, in a warm and welcoming environment. Our experienced team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all of whom are committed to ongoing professional development and excellence in patient care.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Ashburn, VA, boasting spacious treatment areas and a collaborative setting. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. You will be part of a close-knit team that values mutual support and open communication, creating a positive and motivating atmosphere for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations and discussions to devise effective treatment strategies.
  • Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated and personalized attention to each patient's unique needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored care plans utilizing diverse treatment modalities to improve patients' mobility and physical capabilities.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to motivate and engage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Advise patients on lifestyle modifications and provide education on exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Document progress and treatment results in our EMR system, using tools such as WebPT to ensure efficient communication and information sharing.
  • Consistently evaluate treatment effects and make necessary adjustments to care plans in real-time based on patient feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic outpatient practice serves a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals recovering from surgeries, and patients managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will focus on supporting these patients through tailored treatments designed to address their specific challenges and goals, emphasizing mobility restoration and pain relief.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
  • No history of board actions or disciplinary measures associated with your licensure.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a firm grasp of orthopedic assessment and treatment strategies.
  • Familiarity with EMR software, preferably WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.
Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a similar orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with a variety of rehabilitation techniques and the ability to adapt treatment plans to correspond with evolving patient needs will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
