Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced technology that supports diverse therapeutic practices. Our dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care to our patients. We primarily cater to those with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible and tailored to meet the needs of our community.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, offering a professional yet supportive environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a well-structured work-life balance. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility and improve function within a caring and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' goals and needs, devising personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, treating one individual per hour while maintaining high standards of care.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance mobility and promote recovery.
• Prioritize patient education, guiding individuals through home exercise programs and wellness strategies tailored to their lifestyles.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to design integrated care approaches for complex patient cases.
• Utilize EMR software, including WebPT, to document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage patients in motivational discussions that encourage adherence to treatment protocols and a commitment to healthy living.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse clientele, primarily comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients from varied backgrounds, empowering them through tailored rehabilitation programs designed to meet their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• No history of disciplinary actions associated with your license.
• Proven skills in manual therapy techniques, showing a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective exercise programs focused on patient recovery and strengthening.
• Competence in EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to document and track patient progress efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient care setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
