Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to identify patients' orthopedic needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and function.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, providing thorough treatments for one patient at a time each hour.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on alternative pain management approaches that could reduce reliance on medications and prevent unnecessary surgeries.
• Motivate and guide patients through personalized fitness and wellness programs, focusing on their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
• Maintain detailed records of patient treatments and progress within WebPT to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and physicians, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Active Living Orthopedic Facility, our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This includes individuals with conditions such as fractures, ligament tears, joint replacements, and chronic pain issues. You will work with a diverse range of patients, from athletes seeking to return to their sport to elderly individuals aiming to maintain their independence through improved mobility.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Competence in utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing treatment plans that highlight patient progression.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
