Position Overview

Life Point Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time position in our outpatient practice located in Old Bridge, New Jersey. As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will play an essential role in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating patients, focusing on restoring their mobility and functionality through customized treatment plans.

Life Point Physical Therapy is a well-established, orthopedic outpatient private practice that emphasizes high-quality patient care. Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine center, designed specifically for injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement. Our team includes two licensed Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who are all committed to collaborating for the health and wellness of our patients. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance and pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach.

Work Environment

This position will be based onsite, directly in our therapeutic facility in Old Bridge. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to identify functional limitations and establish personalized treatment goals.
  • Manage an individual caseload of patients, dedicating one hour per patient to ensure focused and effective therapy sessions.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to develop impactful treatment plans aimed at improving range of motion and mobility.
  • Implement a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to address orthopedic conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide regular updates to all relevant stakeholders involved in patient care.
  • Encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyle changes by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination throughout their treatment.
  • Document all patient encounters meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to formulate a comprehensive care plan.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Life Point Physical Therapy primarily works with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on facilitating a quick yet effective recovery journey by reducing reliance on pharmaceuticals and advocating for non-surgical interventions. Each patient will receive individualized attention to achieve optimal functionality and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Possession of a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
  • A clean professional record free from disciplinary actions is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques.
  • Strong skills in designing and executing tailored exercise protocols.
  • Proficient with WebPT EMR Software for documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
  • Experience managing a diverse caseload that reflects varying orthopedic conditions.
  • Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and tools used in sports medicine.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
