Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will work closely with our dedicated team in a home care setting in Oviedo, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage customized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility and functionality.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, utilizing diagnostic assessments that focus on muscle, nerve, joint, and functional performance.
  • Administer a range of therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, while also guiding and motivating clients through recovery activities.
  • Implement pain-relief techniques through physical modalities such as traction, massage, and various physical agents based on individual patient needs.
  • Assess, fit, and optimize prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring proper adjustments and recommendations to enhance clients' rehabilitation and daily living.
  • Provide education and training to patients and families on health management practices and injury prevention strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, which may include individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your empathetic and skillful approach will directly contribute to restoring independence and improving the quality of life for elderly clients, active adults, and those with special rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, specifically in orthopedic settings.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in orthopedic assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based patient care approaches.
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills, with the ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient progress and manage treatment plans effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with diverse patient groups, including geriatrics and individuals in acute care settings.
  • Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities in physical therapy.
  • Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on patient progress and feedback.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications, along with additional bonuses based on performance.
