Working closely with two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will be part of a dynamic team committed to high standards of patient care.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of North Las Vegas, our rehabilitation center is designed for patient comfort and efficient care delivery. The center is equipped with advanced treatment modalities and rehabilitation technologies that enhance the therapeutic experience. Your typical workweek will run from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. We prioritize collaboration and communication, ensuring you will work alongside other healthcare providers, creating a multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals, functional limitations, and expectations to develop individualized care plans.
  • Manage a patient caseload efficiently, dedicating one-on-one attention to each patient for an hour to ensure optimal treatment and progress tracking.
  • Utilize your orthopedic experience to provide evidence-based treatment tailored to enhance patients' range of motion and functional mobility.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment strategies focused on minimizing reliance on pain medications and avoiding surgical interventions where possible.
  • Design and deliver personalized fitness and wellness programs, integrating therapeutic exercises that align with patients' recovery goals.
  • Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation, fostering a positive environment that encourages adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, therapy outcomes, and feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and conditions, particularly those with private insurance coverage. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient demographic, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to post-surgical patients seeking rehabilitation. Your role will involve crafting care strategies that address each patient's specific circumstances and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation settings, with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of therapeutic exercise protocols.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, especially WebPT, is essential for efficient documentation and patient management.
  • A commitment to maintaining high professional standards and a spotless professional record.
Preferred Experience

While two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is required, candidates with advanced certifications in specialized physical therapy techniques or modalities (such as dry needling or sports rehabilitation) will have a competitive edge.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
