Work Environment

Our center offers an onsite work setting, which allows for direct interaction with patients, colleagues, and support staff. The position entails a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. This full-time role will see you managing an average patient volume of one to two clients per hour, giving you ample opportunity to fully engage with each individual and attend to their specific rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized physical therapy services by assessing patient needs and developing personalized rehabilitation programs that focus on achieving optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring they are actively involved in every stage of their recovery plan, which will enhance engagement and promote adherence to therapies.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to implement manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities designed to relive pain and enhance physical function.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adapting treatment protocols as necessary to maximize recovery potential and maintaining open communication with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct patient education sessions to inform individuals and their families about rehabilitation processes, home exercises, and lifestyle changes to enhance recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Hand in Hand Rehab Center, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions.
