Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, where the atmosphere is both professional and welcoming. You will work a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring a good work-life balance while being fully engaged in patient care activities. Our collaborative approach encourages interaction with other healthcare providers, ensuring that comprehensive care plans are implemented seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the individual objectives and requirements of each patient.
  • Manage a patient load optimally, maintaining focus on one patient per hour to ensure quality care.
  • Utilize evidence-based methodologies to administer effective therapies that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, adjusting them as necessary based on patient progress.
  • Educate patients on non-invasive alternatives to medication and surgery, empowering them through knowledge and understanding.
  • Design and oversee customized fitness and wellness programs, focusing on the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in line with state regulations and facility policies.
  • Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and monitor progress while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve their personal health goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population varies in age and includes both active adults and seniors looking to regain their independence and mobility. Your expertise will directly contribute to their recovery journeys, ensuring they achieve optimal functionality and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Florida without any board or disciplinary actions.
  • Expertise in manual therapy techniques and experience with orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
  • Proficiency in assessing and designing exercise programs that cater to diverse patient needs.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, for effective documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting with a focus on rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing treatment plans that lead to improved patient outcomes.
  • Skills in patient education and community health promotion.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
