Work Environment

This Full-Time position will be performed onsite at our dedicated rehabilitation facility in Freehold, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish individualized care plans aimed at preventing disability and relieving pain.
  • Deliver a variety of physical therapy interventions, from manual therapeutic exercises to functional activities that motivate and assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to physical therapy assistants to ensure consistency and adherence to the prescribed treatment plans.
  • Evaluate the home environment for rehabilitation suitability and provide recommendations that enhance the client's independence.
  • Assess, fit, and adjust orthopedic and prosthetic devices, collaborating with physicians for any necessary modifications.
  • Track patient progress meticulously; documenting changes in condition and responses to therapy while communicating updates with physicians and the care team.
  • Engage as an active participant in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to case conferences and collaborative treatment planning.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding rehabilitation techniques and the use of therapeutic equipment.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Complete other necessary assignments that align with company objectives to optimize client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse client population including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to adapt treatment styles to suit patients of various ages and backgrounds, ensuring each receives customized care that enhances their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally within an acute care or home care environment.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, along with active CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet client needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with skills and experience.
