Work Environment

You will be part of a closely-knit team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), where teamwork and open communication are paramount. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to understand the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Manage patient caseloads efficiently, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention.
  • Employ cost-effective treatment strategies that aim to improve functional mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive surgeries.
  • Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, orthopedic specialists, and other therapists to optimize patient care.
  • Incorporate patient education in your practice by promoting health and wellness, including home exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey by setting realistic goals and celebrating their achievements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes those recovering from sports injuries, surgical procedures, chronic pain conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role is pivotal in guiding these patients towards recovery, enhancing their physical capabilities, and motivating them to embrace healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California with a clean record reflecting no board actions or disciplinary measures.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, showcasing your expertise in facilitating patient recovery.
  • Exceptional skills in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens based on patient assessments.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software platforms, specifically WebPT, to manage patient documentation and treatment plans efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Significant clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a track record of successful patient outcomes.
  • Advanced skill in diverse therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques pertinent to orthopedic rehabilitation.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
