Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physical condition, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs of each patient.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to address patient-specific goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment interventions, and progress toward goals that align with state regulations and professional standards.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment approaches, and preventive measures to facilitate better health outcomes.
• Submit billing and coding for services rendered and manage departmental resources effectively.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, physical therapy aides, and students to foster a collaborative learning environment.
