About the OrganizationAt Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care within our state-of-the-art 5000 square foot rehabilitation facility, specifically designed for sports medicine and comprehensive orthopedic therapy. Our multidisciplinary team includes two experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who are dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment that supports both professional development and patient-centered care.
Work EnvironmentThis is an onsite position located in Moreno Valley, California, where you will work directly with patients in a rehabilitation facility known for its cutting-edge equipment and holistic treatment approaches. Our typical hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work schedule conducive to both personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patient mobility and functionality, establishing individual care plans to address specific rehabilitation goals.
- Deliver one-on-one physical therapy sessions, managing a patient load of one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention and quality care.
- Utilize a diverse array of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate clients and their families on best practices for physical health, pain management, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using evidence-based methods to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care solutions, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient rehabilitation.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle through customized fitness and wellness programs that encourage strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Engage with patients motivationally, motivating them throughout their recovery journey to achieve their mobility goals.
Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients requiring outpatient care. This encompasses individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The client base primarily consists of patients with private medical insurance, underscoring our commitment to high-quality therapeutic outcomes and service excellence.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required;
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California;
- No board actions or disciplinary actions against your license;
- Proven experience in orthopedic outpatient care, with a minimum of two years in a similar role;
- Strong manual therapy skills with the ability to implement effective exercise routines;
- Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring the efficient use of technology in patient care and documentation.
Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting and familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines will enhance your fit for this role. Skills in patient assessment, care plan development, and experience with diverse treatment methodologies are highly valued.
Compensation and BenefitsGotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
