Work Environment

You will be joining a collaborative team comprised of two highly experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions using a variety of clinical approaches to determine their individual needs and establish targeted goals.
• Manage an individualized patient caseload, ensuring personal attention by seeing one patient per hour to provide focused and effective treatment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's needs and lifestyle requirements.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to enhance mobility and facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients about their conditions and offer guidance on preventative measures to avoid future issues, advocating for a proactive approach to health.
• Document all patient-focused care and treatment outcomes accurately within our EMR system, specifically utilizing WebPT for streamlined recordkeeping and communication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive delivery of patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a positive rehabilitation experience to enhance adherence to treatment protocols.
• Continuously track and assess patient progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on their evolving needs.
• Contribute to ongoing clinic quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is predominantly on orthopedic patients, providing services to individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our team understands the unique challenges faced by these populations and is committed to delivering personalized care that underscores the importance of rehabilitation and recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, without any disciplinary actions or complaints.
• Strong competencies in manual therapy techniques are essential to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Exceptional skills in devising and implementing tailor-made exercise protocols for varied patient demographics.
• Familiarity with using EMR Software, with a preference for WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• A successful track record of developing and managing effective rehabilitation programs.
• Experience with advanced therapeutic modalities and exercise therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
