Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' medical histories, physical conditions, and rehabilitation needs through thorough assessments and diagnostic tests.
  • Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that utilize a combination of evidence-based techniques to optimize mobility and functionality.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to promote recovery and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Motivate and coach patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing encouragement and adjustments to ensure optimal progression.
  • Document patient progress meticulously, assessing treatment effectiveness and modifying plans as necessary.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to collaborate on patient care strategies, consulting with physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment processes, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health benefits.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus includes patients experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions, particularly those with musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. You will be working closely with individuals of all ages, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients seeking to improve their balance and mobility, ensuring each treatment plan is aligned with their unique needs and goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
  • Strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly with patients suffering from musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Demonstrated experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapy modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Experience in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for maintaining patient documentation and tracking treatment progress.
Compensation and Benefits
