Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a rehabilitation or relevant setting.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with patients, encouraging them to achieve their functional goals.
  • A genuine desire to connect and positively interact with a diverse patient demographic.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in specialized treatment areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurologic rehabilitation. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous.
