Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including gathering pertinent medical histories, performing specific assessments, and preparing thorough documentation of results and recommendations.
- Effectively communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting processes to ensure alignment with their expectations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in implementing treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, continually adapting approaches based on patient responses and the evolving healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, documenting any changes in patient conditions and modifying treatment plans as necessary to enhance care quality.
- Manage discharge planning comprehensively, ensuring patients are equipped with follow-up care instructions. Maintain accurate documentation throughout the treatment process, including evaluation notes, progress summaries, and discharge assessments.
- Practice effective time management to meet departmental productivity standards, sustaining an organized schedule and punctuality for team meetings.
- Assist in achieving departmental goals by actively participating in improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and education opportunities while mentoring students and colleagues in a collaborative learning atmosphere.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
- A valid state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
- American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (CPR) certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continued education in the field.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, but not mandatory; we welcome applications from newly graduated professionals with strong academic credentials.
