Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our Fort Collins clinic, you will work in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs. The outpatient office is designed to provide an inviting atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and motivated during their rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs and goals of each patient, with a focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall function.
  • Guide patients through tailored therapeutic exercises, stretches, and rehabilitative activities to promote physical well-being and alleviate pain.
  • Educate patients about proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and at-home programs to support their recovery journey.
  • Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to enhance treatment efficacy under appropriate supervision.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional outcome measures to ensure optimal care.
  • Maintain organized treatment areas and ensure that all equipment and supplies are prepared and readily available for therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists—to create a comprehensive care plan for each patient.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement, fostering a positive environment to motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
  • Uphold high ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for their rights.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Colorado.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
