Work Environment

This role will be based on-site at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Norwalk, Connecticut. Your work schedule will encompass 40 hours per week, with variable weekend hours as needed to ensure flexible patient care solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of your patients to formulate effective treatment strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans, keeping patient needs and goals at the forefront while utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Engage in continuous communication and consultation with healthcare providers regarding the patient's care journey, ensuring every aspect of the continuum is addressed.
  • Provide education to patients and their families about treatment protocols, progress, and discharge planning to enhance understanding and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment results and plans in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Actively participate in community outreach efforts, quality improvement initiatives, marketing strategies, program development, and staff mentorship.
  • Supervise and support assigned staff or interns, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Evaluate daily treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve interacting with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
