Work Environment

This role is full-time, with a schedule that runs Monday through Friday, offering shifts from either 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will work onsite in our rehabilitation clinic that fosters a collaborative atmosphere among a team of skilled professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to accurately identify their objectives and therapeutic needs.
• Deliver high-quality, individualized patient care, ensuring focused treatment sessions with a maximum of one patient per hour.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to improve patients' mobility, range of motion, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy, targeted exercise regimes, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to create a holistic approach to patient care.
• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with clinic standards.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment options, encouraging patients to minimize their reliance on medications through effective therapeutic practices.
• Encourage and motivate patients to achieve their physical therapy goals, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our focus on patient-centered care means you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients as you guide them through personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist with no disciplinary actions in your history.
• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a focus on hands-on treatment methodologies.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and capable of designing effective exercise protocols for diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in sports rehabilitation or working with post-operative orthopedic patients is highly valued. A background in exercise science or similar fields, as well as ongoing education in the latest treatment techniques, will set you apart as a candidate eager to contribute to our team's success.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, reflective of your experience and expertise, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
