Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs through comprehensive assessments of muscle strength, joint functionality, and overall mobility.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at relieving pain, preventing disability, and enhancing physical performance based on patient goals and clinical best practices.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey in both individual and group settings.
  • Take the lead in overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they follow the treatment plans accurately and providing guidance on patient progress.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of patient progress, documenting changes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with medical professionals.
  • Maintain clear and accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, to ensure thorough patient care tracking and compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and communicate effectively with all members involved in patient treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, therapeutic equipment, and home care techniques that promote recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility and functionality. Our facility caters to a diverse demographic, including older adults and active individuals from various backgrounds. Your role in fostering healing and supporting their recovery journey is pivotal in improving their physical outcomes and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid and current physical therapy licensure in New Jersey.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
  • Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in all situations.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to the facility.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
