Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Deep Care Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify their specific needs and develop individualized treatment programs.
• Implementing tailored therapeutic interventions, employing a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Providing expert guidance and education to patients and their caregivers to empower them throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based approaches and best practices.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and communication related to patient progress in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service to foster positive relationships with patients and their families, enhancing the overall effectiveness of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse range of specialties and patient populations, including but not limited to orthopedic injuries, pediatric concerns, neurologic conditions, and sports medicine cases. Each patient presents unique challenges, allowing you to apply your skills and knowledge across various demographics, ultimately aiding their recovery and reintegration into daily activities.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A recognized Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, to maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience
