The Physical Therapist position is an onsite role located within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility situated in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs by conducting thorough assessments of muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities to inform treatment planning.
  • Create and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, restoring function, and preventing disability based on each client's unique circumstances.
  • Administer effective therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques and assistive exercises, tailored to enhance patient engagement and progress.
  • Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to the established plan of care and the delivery of safe, appropriate treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, attending case conferences and contributing insights regarding therapy progress and needs.
  • Document clinical activities meticulously, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Assess environmental factors to recommend adjustments that promote patient independence and optimize the rehabilitation process in various settings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to instruct them on rehabilitation techniques and equipment usage that fosters self-management.
  • Critically analyze patient progress, documenting changes and proposing modifications to the care plan as needed in consultation with referring physicians.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse client population encompassing adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those needing support to regain mobility and independence. The focus is on providing tailored rehabilitation services that meet the specific needs of each patient, ensuring they receive compassionate care in a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, ideally within a rehabilitation or clinical setting.
  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in good standing in Florida.
  • Holding a valid CPR certification and a current driver's license with automobile insurance is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate empathetically with patients and families.
  • A commitment to professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality therapeutic services.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this Full-Time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
