Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. We boast a state-of-the-art, 5,000 square-foot facility designed to accommodate various physical therapy needs and support a diverse patient population. Our interdisciplinary approach enables us to collaborate effectively with other health care professionals, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans.

Work Environment

This position is based at our onsite facility in beautiful West Palm Beach, allowing you to enjoy the scenic environment while you work. You'll be part of a supportive team of three physical therapists, all dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our flexible work schedule of Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, includes the option for adjustments to better suit your work-life balance. We utilize Athena Health as our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring seamless documentation and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients to create detailed, individualized care plans that outline treatment objectives and therapeutic strategies.
  • Engage with patients in one-on-one sessions, spending focused time—approximately 40 minutes per patient—to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to maximize mobility, reduce pain, and enhance strength through tailored exercises and interventions.
  • Cultivate a motivating environment that encourages patients to commit to their rehabilitation, adjusting treatments as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
  • Develop and supervise customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting long-term health and injury prevention.
  • Decrease reliance on medication or invasive procedures via proactive approaches to rehabilitation.
  • Regularly communicate progress and collaborate with fellow health care professionals for comprehensive patient discussions.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions and treatment services in the EMR system, maintaining the highest standards for record-keeping.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of patients, including athletes and individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries. Our practice primarily serves patients with commercial insurance and those who choose to pay privately, allowing for a diverse caseload tailored to the current demands of the community.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Master's (MS) or Doctorate (DPT) degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, preferably with orthopedic focus.
  • Possession of a valid Florida State license to practice Physical Therapy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with and motivate patients from various backgrounds and personalities.
  • A strong foundation in current therapeutic techniques and a commitment to continual professional development.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a dynamic caseload effectively while providing personalized care.
  • Experience using Athena Health or similar EMR systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
