Work Environment

The rehabilitation center features state-of-the-art facilities designed for optimal healing and recovery. As a full-time physical therapist, you'll work Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., engaging with clients in a supportive and friendly environment. Our onsite setting emphasizes teamwork, allowing seamless communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' needs and develop customized treatment plans that leverage diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Administer effective therapies that aim to enhance clients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical performance.
• Maintain a consistent patient load of one individual per hour, focusing on high-quality care and personal engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Encourage patients throughout their therapy journey, motivating them towards improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible integrative care.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives, aiming to minimize reliance on medications whenever feasible.
• Foster a rehabilitative atmosphere that promotes a healthy lifestyle for clients through customized fitness and wellness programs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with industry advancements and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. This includes athletes seeking rehabilitation, elderly clients managing age-related physical challenges, and individuals needing post-operative care. Our objective is to restore mobility and functionality to ensure that our patients can enjoy active, fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and comprehensive exercise program design.
• Experience in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, for effective documentation and management of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement treatment plans that show measurable improvement in patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
