Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients to determine the level of acuity of their conditions, utilizing clinical judgment and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to patients' unique needs, monitoring their progress and adjusting approaches as necessary.
  • Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and explaining home exercise programs.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and support for comprehensive patient treatment plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on patients who have experienced orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, and chronic pain syndromes. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will guide patients recovering from sports injuries, post-operative care, and degenerative musculoskeletal disorders, helping them to regain mobility and strength through personalized therapy programs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically in outpatient orthopedic settings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive solutions tailored to each patient's recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
