Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify each patient's unique goals and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a focused caseload, averaging one patient per hour, allowing for dedicated, personalized treatment sessions.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans that utilize evidence-based modalities and techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Facilitate progressive exercise protocols tailored to enhance recovery and mobility, while motivating patients throughout their therapy journey.
• Document all patient care services accurately, ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining organized electronic health records (EMR) using WebPT.
• Coordinate care with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and resources to patients on nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies to promote long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse range of patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be vital in not just addressing their physical needs but also providing emotional support, encouragement, and education throughout their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing their commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in executing advanced manual therapy techniques for optimal patient care.
• Strong ability to develop, implement, and modify exercise protocols based on individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate patient documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in guiding patients through rehabilitation using evidence-based practices.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
