Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Implement and oversee treatment programs for a variety of conditions including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries.
- Provide targeted, hands-on therapeutic interventions directly to patients, employing state-of-the-art techniques and tools in alignment with the physician's plan of care.
- Foster strong relationships with patients and their families, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey and empowering them to meet their functional goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes, participating in case discussions and contributing to planning sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment results in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, home exercises, and wellness strategies to ensure continuity of care outside the clinic.
- Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and contribute to the overall business objectives through effective patient management.
In this role, you will engage with a broad spectrum of patients, from children needing sports injury rehabilitation to elderly individuals recovering from surgeries. Your ability to adapt treatment plans according to varied patient needs will be crucial in helping each individual achieve their optimal health. Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program is required.
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy, with a willingness to maintain compliance with certification standards.
- A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, that facilitate effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other technology to enhance patient care and documentation.
- A genuine desire to build relationships and positively impact patients' lives through thoughtful, personalized treatment.
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory, though possessing this will be considered an advantage.
- Two or more years of practical experience in a clinical setting, with specific exposure to rehabilitation or outpatient therapy.
- Current CPR certification is highly desirable.
This position offers a salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits.
