Work EnvironmentThis role is located onsite at our outpatient facility in Fort Lauderdale, allowing you to work closely with colleagues and collaborate in a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive treatment programs based on patients' needs and physician recommendations.
- Administer therapies to a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions.
- Utilize evidence-based methodologies to maximize patient recovery and performance outcomes, ensuring alignment with clinical goals.
- Consult, educate, and empower patients and their caregivers regarding therapeutic interventions and self-management strategies.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service, contributing to overall clinic effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
- Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to improve treatment protocols and enhance multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Achieve and exceed productivity and utilization targets as set by the organization.
Your primary focus will encompass a wide range of patients, with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation. This may include post-surgical patients, those recovering from sports injuries, as well as pediatric cases that require specialized therapeutic approaches. In your role, you will ensure that every patient feels valued and understood, thereby fostering a conducive environment for healing and progress.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
- Current State License in Physical Therapy.
- Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in word processing and computer systems to document patient care accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues.
While entry-level applications are welcome, experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, as well as working with diverse populations, is preferred. Familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies and methodologies will be beneficial in this role.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we provide performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
