Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical judgement.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises while applying various treatment modalities such as manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and proper body mechanics to promote healing and prevent future injuries.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functionality to measure efficacy of treatments.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are organized, facilitating a smooth delivery of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to create a holistic approach for patient care and rehabilitation.
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation, fostering a motivating and positive environment for recovery.
• Uphold high ethical standards and patient confidentiality in all aspects of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of patients, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults facing mobility challenges due to age-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits
