Position Overview

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care by evaluating and treating 1 to 2 patients per hour, ensuring each session is tailored to meet their specific rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote pain relief and facilitate movement restoration, adjusting therapy plans based on ongoing patient assessments.
  • Engage in effective communication with patients to educate and motivate them through their recovery journey, reinforcing the importance of adherence to prescribed exercise regimens.
  • Utilize WebPT for maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and continuously enhance overall treatment methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly serves a diverse population comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will be working closely with patients of varying ages and activity levels, ensuring that rehabilitation programs are tailored to their specific lifestyles and physical abilities. By focusing on each patient's unique needs, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing their quality of life and functional independence.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied by a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to foster a supportive and engaging therapeutic relationship with patients.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with WebPT or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current rehabilitation methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively in clinical practice.
Compensation and Benefits
