Work EnvironmentThis position is based at our outpatient office located in East Orange, NJ, where you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and support staff, to provide comprehensive care. The environment is designed to promote collaboration and innovation, with modern facilities equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enjoying a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to ensure continuity of care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR), tracking patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Exercise independent judgment to choose the most effective treatment modalities, utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver care.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to treatments, making data-driven decisions to adjust care strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practices.
In your role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. This includes post-operative rehabilitation, therapeutic exercises, and the management of musculoskeletal disorders. You will create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, catering not only to the physical aspects of recovery but also addressing the emotional and psychological components that contribute to healing.
Qualifications- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
- Minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, specifically within orthopedic and outpatient settings.
- Expertise in orthopedic assessment techniques, treatment interventions, and the design of patient care plans.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with both geriatric and acute care populations.
- Familiarity with modern treatment modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and advanced rehabilitation technologies.
- Proven track record of successful patient outcomes and strong clinical reasoning skills.
Compassion Elevated Therapy offers an attractive compensation package that ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, including potential bonuses.
