Work Environment

Our outpatient office setting provides a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, allowing healthcare professionals to work closely with one another. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their functional abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and identify specific rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement a variety of evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, aimed at improving patients' mobility and alleviating pain.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care, participating in team meetings and care planning discussions.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and injury prevention strategies to promote safe and effective recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment interventions in adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele at our facility comprises individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services. This includes post-surgical patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals suffering from chronic pain or mobility challenges. The diversity of our patient population requires a Physical Therapist who possesses a comprehensive understanding of various orthopedic conditions and how to effectively manage them through tailored intervention strategies.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is required to practice effectively.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, especially in an outpatient or orthopedic setting, to ensure proficiency in delivering quality patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification for healthcare professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive patient interactions and effective teamwork.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or outpatient physical therapy settings is highly desirable, as it ensures familiarity with common pathologies and rehabilitation protocols.
