Key Responsibilities

  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery and improve function.
  • Monitor and record patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes and patient feedback, thus maintaining a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention measures, rehabilitation exercises, and effective home exercise programs to enhance recovery and prevent recurrence of injuries.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care that addresses all aspects of the patient's health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to comply with healthcare regulations, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication within the care team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those dealing with chronic injuries, and active individuals striving to prevent future issues. Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited educational institution is required.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license.
  • At least three years of professional experience, particularly in orthopedic settings, with a strong foundation in assessment and treatment methods.
  • Proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques, treatment modalities, and a thorough understanding of patient care planning processes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
