Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' conditions and develop tailored treatment plans that aim to achieve each individual's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Manage an annual caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring focused and effective interventions.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic exercises and techniques to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy skills to improve physical function and reduce discomfort, relying on skills honed through education and clinical experience.
• Design and implement individual fitness and wellness programs that encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles and improve overall wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient management and support, sharing insights to refine care plans.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress, evaluating treatment outcomes, and documenting care in accordance with clinic policies and EMR standards, particularly utilizing WebPT.
• Motivate and educate patients on exercises to encourage adherence and self-management strategies that contribute to positive health outcomes.
• Promote a proactive approach for possibly diminishing reliance on medications and exploring alternative interventions to surgical procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, trauma, and chronic injuries. You will work with diverse individuals, ranging from athletes seeking to return to sport to the elderly aiming to regain independence in daily activities. Understanding unique patient backgrounds and tailoring appropriate interventions is crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Demonstrated dedication to maintaining a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with EMR software applications, with specific experience in WebPT preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling excellent patient interaction and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, enhancing your understanding of tailored physical therapy interventions.
• A background in sports rehabilitation, allowing for a broader comprehension of athletic injuries and patient motivation.

Compensation and Benefits
