Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to establish individualized treatment plans.
- Set measurable goals and implement therapeutic interventions consistently, ensuring adherence to physician orders.
- Document all patient interactions, evaluations, and progress in a timely and professional manner, utilizing electronic health record systems to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel to enhance care delivery and encourage professional development.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of therapy interventions and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with a variety of healthcare professionals to design and evaluate intervention protocols tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will support patients of all ages in regaining autonomy and improving their overall functional capabilities. Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interactions and interprofessional collaboration.
- Proficiency in electronic documentation and office productivity software.
- At least one year of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting is preferred but not mandatory.
