Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial evaluations for patients presenting with orthopedic issues, utilizing your expertise to assess their specific needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient goals, ensuring each plan is evidence-based and tailored for optimal recovery.
  • Implement various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to aid in rehabilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and chiropractors, to facilitate comprehensive patient care and address any cross-disciplinary concerns.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, at-home exercises, and preventative strategies that promote long-term health.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment updates, and outcomes in compliance with our clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, incorporating feedback to continuously improve care practices and enhance patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adults recovering from orthopedic surgery, injuries, or chronic pain. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, helping them at various stages of their rehabilitation journey. By fostering strong relationships with your patients, you will play a vital role in motivating them and offering support as they work toward their recovery milestones.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees (DPT or MPT) from an accredited institution are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply and may receive mentorship.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic techniques, rehabilitation protocols, and effective patient assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to interact with patients and collaborate with team members effectively.
  • Competency in electronic health record (EHR) management is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
