Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional limitations, interpreting findings, and developing comprehensive treatment and discharge plans.
- Implementing individualized treatment protocols, continually monitoring progress, and modifying therapy as necessary based on patient response and goals.
- Providing clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Documenting all treatments and interactions accurately in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Participating in community outreach activities and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervising support staff, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role will necessitate sensitivity to different age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that all patients receive compassionate, personalized care.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation.
While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with specific experience in rehabilitation and outpatient therapy modalities will be highly valued.
