Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal functions to identify impairments and establish baseline metrics, guiding the formulation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, to assist patients in regaining mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing physical function.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated treatment strategies that address the holistic needs of each patient, ensuring seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate patients and their families extensively on prescribed therapeutic exercises, injury prevention techniques, and lifestyle modifications to foster long-lasting health outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring clear documentation for continued patient care and reimbursement processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will include a diverse client base, primarily comprised of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges and aspirations, requiring a tailored, compassionate approach to therapy. You will play a vital role in assisting patients during their critical recovery phases, providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary for optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in outpatient or orthopedic settings, demonstrating a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective relationships with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing manual therapy and advanced exercise techniques within patient rehabilitation, particularly in orthopedic settings.

Compensation and Benefits
