Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation center where you will collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team of professionals, which includes two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Your working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life structure while meeting the high demand for our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
  • Manage and maintain an active patient load, providing individualized treatments to two patients per hour.
  • Administer evidence-based therapies aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
  • Design and implement effective non-surgical alternatives that support patient rehabilitation goals.
  • Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques to develop comprehensive, patient-specific treatment plans.
  • Incorporate customized fitness and wellness programs focusing on each patient's unique recovery objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality care based on proven interventions and continuous evaluation of patient progress.
  • Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to help them achieve their functional goals.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle by improving patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Monitor therapy outcomes and maintain detailed documentation of all patient interactions and progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. These patients often require targeted rehabilitation strategies to regain mobility and independence. Your role will involve working closely with patients from various backgrounds, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of each individual, fostering a trusting relationship that promotes successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Must possess a current license as a Physical Therapist in Winnemucca, Nevada, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for managing patient documentation and progress.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings, is preferred.
  • Experience implementing evidence-based treatment approaches and therapeutic programs focused on patient recovery.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
