Work Environment

This role operates in a home care setting, emphasizing the importance of delivering therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment for our patients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities, using standardized assessment tools tailored to individual needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address patient-specific recovery goals, implementing evidence-based interventions and therapies.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques, ensuring each approach is aligned with the physician's plan of care.
  • Monitor patient progress, documenting changes in condition and modifying care plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on effective therapeutic exercises and assistive devices, empowering them to actively engage in the rehabilitation process.
  • Éffectively communicate with interdisciplinary team members to discuss patient care, ensuring holistic treatment and addressing any arising challenges promptly.
  • Adhere to company policies and contribute to business goals, including meeting minimum utilization rates and demonstrating outstanding customer service.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Spindletop, you will work with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will guide clients through their healing journeys, helping them achieve their functional mobility goals and return to their normal daily activities.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) recognized by the American Heart Association.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and documentation software.
  • A commitment to building strong relationships with patients to foster trust and encourage collaboration in their care.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings or home health environments.

Compensation and Benefits
