Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized treatment to patients with a focus on their unique orthopedic goals, ensuring that each individual receives targeted care.
• Manage your patient caseload effectively, allowing adequate time for each session to facilitate thorough recovery and progress tracking.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic care by utilizing evidence-based practices and established treatment techniques to promote optimal mobility.
• Explore and implement cost-effective therapies that prioritize non-surgical interventions, thereby minimizing medication reliance.
• Develop well-rounded care plans that incorporate various therapeutic strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of patients.
• Create specific fitness and wellness programs designed to align with the personal recovery and health goals of each patient.
• Motivate patients and provide encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness through progress evaluations, making adjustments as necessary to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and services provided meticulously using EMR software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on patients dealing with orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility disorders. Our diverse patient population ranges from young athletes to seniors, allowing you to utilize your skills across a broad spectrum of rehabilitation needs. You will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve functional independence and return to their everyday lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of physical therapy best practices.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software systems, preferably Web PT, for efficient patient management.
• A passion for staying current with ongoing developments in physical therapy, ensuring the application of the latest evidence-based methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong background in developing and executing individualized exercise programs that cater to a variety of patient needs.
• Professional experience utilizing comprehensive methods for pain management and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
