Work Environment

This full-time position is performed in a dynamic onsite and home care setting, allowing for a diverse range of patient encounters. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our talented staff, including two other physical therapists and support staff, in an environment that values open communication, continuous learning, and mutual respect. Our outpatient center is equipped with modern facilities and tools that promote effective therapy sessions and patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through comprehensive assessments to create personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload, allocating sufficient time to deliver focused, one-on-one care, averaging one patient per hour.
• Implement a range of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and innovative technology to improve patients' range of motion.
• Develop cost-effective strategies that promote recovery, reduce pain, and encourage functional independence, while minimizing the need for medications and invasive surgical interventions.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they understand their treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, to document patient information, treatment progress, and outcomes accurately.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment, making necessary adjustments to the care plans based on progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, wellness strategies, and the importance of adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Maintain clear, thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with orthopedic patients experiencing a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our diverse patient demographic ranges from active individuals seeking to regain mobility to older adults working to improve their quality of life through physical therapy interventions. The focus is on providing patient-centered care that respects each individual's unique needs, preferences, and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A proven track record of a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to staying updated on the latest physical therapy trends and methodologies.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to the individual needs of patients.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance patient documentation and communication capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, demonstrating the ability to handle complex patient cases effectively.
• Previous involvement in patient education and community outreach programs to promote wellness and rehabilitation.
• Active participation in continuing education programs and professional development within the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, Balanced Bodies Wellness Center provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
