The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals.
• Administer therapies using a variety of modalities, adhering to best practices in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Manage a caseload that allows for ample one-on-one time with each patient, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that focus on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and wellness promotion.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and create tailored exercise programs to facilitate movement and enhance functional abilities.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing valuable insights and contributing to a cohesive care approach.
• Consistently monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and health outcomes.
• Maintain precise documentation and effective communication through our EMR system, particularly using WebPT, to ensure continuity of care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journeys, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and active living.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with new therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be mainly working with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic is committed to guiding each patient through their rehabilitation process, ensuring that every individual is treated with the utmost care and respect, while adapting treatment strategies to align with various lifestyles and personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current, active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free of any sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy modalities and exercise program design.
• Ability to effectively utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Strong understanding of the latest research and techniques in physical therapy to provide informed, best-practice care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred, particularly in orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits
